Attended my first Alumni Weekend at UCSB this weekend (woo! getting old!) and got the opportunity to reunite with so many dear friends. For a short while, we were back in the Narnia that is Isla Vista where the responsibilities were minimal and the fun times were anything but that. It felt odd and amazing all at once; our happy place filled with unreal memories but also no longer ours. As always, however, there was dancing, drinking and losing sleep – guess some things really never change! Forever grateful for our Gaucho name that bonds us for life.
I wouldn’t dare see my best friends and let them go without capturing some shots of their natural beauty first ❤ Many more shots on my Instagram! @dianaelenaphotos
I am (sadly) one of few people that can say my parents are still in love. This picture captures it so well and it makes me heart swell. They are nowhere near perfect but they are best friends and their love is clear. Thankful everyday for this blessing ❤
A very happy birthday to this blonde bombshell! Glad we got to frolick Venice and capture these gorgeous portraits. Jenna’s classic California girl look worked perfectly in this hip beach town. You can definitely see her confidence radiating through!
Took a moment away and stepped in front of the camera at my Malibu shoot to share this candid moment with Alice. We both have similar goals and it’s great sharing a passion for creativity with someone I love. Nothing but good energy when she is around. It’s also not so bad being the model sometimes 😉
Captured this shot while walking to the beach in Southern California and my sweet Courtney obliged my modeling request, as always. Everything about this screams LA hip and I love it. I value having a diverse portfolio and I’m happy to have the opportunity to travel for my craft. Courtney is my most willing model so I know i can always count on her. Plus, the camera loves her pretty face!
Many of my fondest college memories were formed here, on this dysfunctional street named Del Playa in Isla Vista. There is no place quite like it and despite its flaws, it is a wonderful place. You have not lived until you’re watching the sunset surrounded by the ones you love, music blasting, not a care in the world. I remember this day specifically; I sat here in this moment and took it all in. Wondering how I got so lucky. Now here I am today, still wondering the same thing. #Ole
