Shine bright.

I have been dreaming of incorporating sparklers into my shoots for a while and the time finally came! The silver lining of this gloomy dark weather we’ve been experiencing is that it makes for great photo shoot lighting. While doing a bridal session with Dorena as my model, I decided to throw one in and take some test shots. Ultimately, the test shots became the final product and I am obsessed! (This is just one of a few magical shots.)As always, you can find more on my Instagram @dianaelenaphotos.

New year, better me.

Today is the day: my camera has arrived and I officially move into the realm of professional (??) photography. Excited for a new journey and a new risk! I don’t know what the future holds but life has yet to deviate from the wild and unpredictable. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this picture of my friend Shanni because she’s such a stunner, capturing her beauty is so easy. **Be warned, I will 99% force you to be my model if we are together.

For the love of travel.

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetMy greatest passion in life is travel (photography almost tying for first, of course.) A few years ago I caught the travel bug and haven’t stopped since. So far I have conquered 10 countries and a handful of states, and this is just the beginning. Having been born and partially raised in Romania, I have the opportunity to visit Europe regularly for my family. I certainly take full advantage of this and have big travel plans for the future. Camera in hand, I can’t wait to share the sights I see!  This is a shot from my latest travel adventure: Seattle! The Chahuly Glass Gardens were seriously one of the COOLEST things I have seen, 10/10 would recommend.
